Get your business onboard

There are many ways business owners can support the BBYC. Part of our purpose to create change and uplift the voices and opportunities for youth is to co-design and collaborate with our community and that includes local businesses. Here are a few ways to support the BBYC:

  • Sponsor a specific program, event or workshop

  • Partner with us to develop strong relationships and collabs

  • Donate or cover costs so that young people can attend local activities

  • Offer your spaces for youth meetings, activities or exhibitions

  • Donate your time, skills and experience to provide learning opportunities

Get involved - Join the BBYC

The BBYC has been around since 2019 and with the support of local partners collaborates and co-designs projects and ideas alongside community.

The BBYC welcomes anyone aged between 12-24, it’s free to join and offers an inclusive, fun and creative environment with the purpose of elevating youth voices, shared leadership and youth-led, placed-based change.

What’s in it for young people?

  • Attend BBYC events, projects and workshops

  • Have a platform to share your ideas and have your voice heard

  • Get the latest - Subscribe to the BBYC newsletter

  • Access to leadership and volunteering opportunities

  • Get involved in your community

  • Opportunity to be part of the BBYC Committee

  • And more!

Adults can also get involved by joining the BBYC as a supporting member or by applying to be part of the BBYC Committee. (Applications come out annually)

Being an adult member means backing youth-led work, staying connected to what’s happening locally, and supporting young people to lead and grow.

Committee roles are open to both young people and adults and involve a more active leadership and decision-making role, while general membership is a low-commitment way to stay connected — including updates, newsletters, invitations to events and opportunities to support or mentor when it suits you.
